Obama Gaining Steam

With returns pouring in, Senator Obama is holding a steady lead over Senator John McCain. Obama took Pennsylvania, a state long viewed as a bellweather for white working class voters. He also picked up Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Illinois. MSNBC is calling Ohio for Obama too. If that holds up it could be the kiss of death for McCain as no Republican has taken the White House without the Buckeye state. We are still waiting for Florida. As expected McCain took Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana.

Big news in Senate races; Kay Hagan defeated Senator Elizabeth Dole in North Carolina and Mark Warver takes the Senate seat in Virginia. Dems have picked up four Senate seats.
