He's our 'Undercover Brother' and he is part of our crew in Charlotte covering the Democratic National Convention. Sadiq Ahmed has been part of the NorthStarNews.com family for most our existence and has lent his talents to our commitment to inform the African-American community. We first met Sadiq in the studios of the now defunct 98.7 KISS-FM in New York City when I was on-air with the crew from "The Open Line." It did not take long for us to forge a bond and he was down with the crew from that day forward! He has been on the scene with us in Boston in 2004, at the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference and our community convention we held in Newark, New Jersey in 2008 to coincide with our website re-launch and  the Democratic National Convention. He has been in Charlotte since the weekend and is keeping a close eye on the mood of the delegates, tracking activists who are in the city and shadowing elected officials.
